After graduation from the language education department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dr. Li worked in a secondary school for teaching Chinese and Liberal Studies. She is passionate about teaching and campus ministry. She has committed to the youth ministries in her church and Breakthrough organization for many years. In 2010, she enrolled MDiv program of China Graduate School of Theology. After graduation, she served as a full-time minister in a church for three years, then she returned to CGST for pursuing the PhD program in Old Testament studies from 2016 to 2020. Within this period, she got an opportunity to study in Asbury Theological Seminary as a visiting scholar.
Dr. Li is now participating in E.F.C.C Spring Church, where her husband, Rev. Liu Yik Yung is serving at.
